Ruam selepas makan ubat HAART?

Yikes, spiderwebs are everywhere.. hahaha.. It such a long time since my last post. I really want to write back but whoaaaa, so many things come up. But, I still advocate and also provide simple consultation for newly diagnose PLIHIV.


Recently, I received multiple questions on the same issue. The side effect of HAART, more specifically rashes after consuming HAART. I would like to emphasize that the level of side effects can be differ from one person to another.. ada yang side effectnya macam-macam.. tapi hilang selepas 1 bulan on HAART. Ada yang sampai kesudah side effect tu ada setiap kali makan HAART. Lain-lain badan lain penerimaan ok. 

So, mild rashes after consuming HAART specifically efavirenz (yellow tablet) are normal. Usually, the rashes will occur 2 weeks or so after consuming HAART. The rashes can be only arm or leg area or can be all over the body and slightly itchy. The rashes will go away after 2-3 weeks. Do apply calamine lotion (can buy from any pharmacy) and refrained from being under the sun too long.

The red flag is when the rashes occur with fever and/or difficulty of breathing. Please immediately go to the hospital and seek immediate medical attention. If the rashes do not go away after 2-3 weeks, please inform your respective ID doctor and they will provide other alternatives (usually decrease the dosage or change to other NNRTI medication).

Paling penting, do not stop consuming your medication without advice from the doctor. Please always inform your doctor on whatever bothering you about HIV and the medication. Ubat ni kena makan sepanjang hayat, so sangat penting untuk korang faham dan ambil tahu tentang ubat dan juga jangkitan HIV. 

I hope the posting helps. Don't worry much about the side effect, PLHIV that seeking treatment is always in good hands. Most importantly, tanya and try not to overthink. Keep yourself happy ok.

Assalamualaikum and good morning... Alrighty in this entry ill share with you how i know hawkeye is plhiv.. First and formost, again i'm stressing this.. I am straight normal blackwidow and i dont give a damn to other person sexuality.. For me, i am not in any postion to condemm, classing people or judge people on their sexuality or how they want to go through their life... December 2021!! Time to revamp the blog!

 yeah, it has a been years and the blog is accumulating dust!! uhuk2! Alright, so many things happen, from my own personal life, my beeyefyef well being and many people around me. I got limited time to pour everything in the blog, so I guess I try to do some story telling in 1 post.. hahaha.. I dont know if this going to be a long post or short.. let's make the loooooooonnnngggggg story short. The most significantly is my beeyefyef well being. He had resigned from his previous job last February and was jobless for 6 months. I have tried my level best to be there for him, I sent him vacancies weekly and yeah, just be there (i guess my expertise, hehehe). He is currently suffering of some mental health issues, but i have my whole trust 1001% that he is managing it. He suffered of panic attacks, depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder.
